Context

Shipping messages encode operational data in compact segments. Useful container details can be spread across routing, reference, weight and temperature fields. The reader turns those relationships into an inspectable structure.

Problem

A missing optional weight must not be confused with a zero value. Routing qualifiers and container grouping must be interpreted consistently before users can rely on the displayed record.

Solution

A Laravel parser groups message segments into container records, normalizes routing fields and preserves missing values. The Vue interface supports filtering, expansion and CSV export.

Outcome

The application provides structured message review, container filtering and export. Parser and API tests cover grouping, routing and missing optional measurements.

Boundary

Internal message-review application. This portfolio uses a process diagram; live cargo records and live vessel tracking are outside this case study.
